The gym [afternoon]

Ben's already terrible mood had not been improved by hearing about John and Hurley on the radio.

So there he was, down in the gym despite the workout he'd gotten with his grandfather earlier in the day, kicking the ever-loving crap out of the heavy punching bag.

He was getting the feeling that he'd need his instincts to be sharp in the next few days.

Jen shrugged it off -- she still wasn't that friendly of a person even if she had improved.

She stuck around anyway, just in case. If Master Skywalker's grandson managed to hurt himself falling off a chair on her watch, she'd feel horrible about it for weeks.

If Ben managed to fall off a chair fixing something, Anakin would probably have laughed himself into a coma.

"There," Ben said a few moments later, looking pleased. "It doesn't look like I broke anything, right?"

He almost gave her a smile. "Thanks," he said, hopping down from the chair. "I'll see you around?"
