Just Outside the Main Gate, Friday Morning

He'd been assessing people resources for most of the previous day. Since there had yet to be word from Lady Zoe, Arthur took the opportunity today to scope out how much space there would be for a barricade - if one could even be feasible.

This brought him to the area just outside the gates, wearing full armor and backed by Merlin-the-idiot-sorcerer, his eyes shooting towards the road in front of them from time to time.

To his credit, all that Arthur did at this point was double-take. Everyone on this island was a wizard. He'd gotten the picture. So he didn't say a word at all, and rather moved to his own end to lift a few rocks. They could at least keep the creatures at a distance for a short while.

Tahiri headed over to Arthur's side of the barricade after she was pretty well satisfied that her end was shaping up nicely, and the others who'd come to help had it well in hand.

"I think things are coming along here. Do you want someone to scout? I've done it before."

"I've already sent someone to see about the North Gate," he replied, casting a look at her, "But it won't hurt to get a good picture of the perimeter."

She nodded briefly. "I can do that," she said, a little more -- not deference, exactly, but something approaching respect for authority in her voice.

"Get back to me as soon as you can," Arthur added, "If there's any zombies out there, I'd like to know about it." He'd be doing it himself if his attention wasn't all over this bloody place right now.

She didn't mention that it'd be easier if he had a phone, or a comlink, or something. Even if she wanted to.

"I will," Tahiri promised, and didn't waste any time taking off at a run.
