You would think by now Harvey and Temari would have learned to stay the hell away from each other. Bad, embarrassing things tended to happen whenever they were in the same vicinity. Like today, for instance, when both just so happened to pass each other in the hallway and ended up getting bitten by a gremlin.

Now they thought they were unicorns. Two very, very annoying unicorns who were on their way to--

"Caaaaaaandy Mountaaaaaaaaaain! Candy Mountain! Candy Mountain!"

Yes. Candy Mountain.

[Open! Yes, Harvey and Temari think they are going to Candy Mountain. If you choose to go with them on their adventuuuuuuuuure you might end up getting thrown into the pool. Just saying]

Warren's deadpan, it was epic.

"... Yeah."

Because, really, what else do you say about something like that?

"Consider me shunned."

"Come on Chaaaaaarliiiieee! To the leopluradon!" Harvey said, pointing down the hallway.

The magical leopluradon was, apparently, a broom. A non-magical looking broom.

"It will guide us to Candy Mountain!" Temari insisted, looking to it for guidance.

"Oh, God. It's a broom, guys." Warren was trying. He really was. It was a shame that gremlin venom totally overpowered reason.

"He's maaaaaaaaaagic!" Harvey said before staring at the leopluradon like it was saying something extremely important.

The broom wasn't saying anything at all, obviously.

"He has shown us the waaaaaaaaaaaaay!"

"It didn't say anything!"

Because, you know, it was a broom. Warren could not stress this point enough, here.

"Come on Charrrrrlieeeeeeee!" Harvey said, bouncing! "To the bridge! To the bridge!"

Or the stairs leading down towards the pool, rather.

"To the briiiiiidge, Chaaaaarliiiiie," Temari called, following him with a bounce.

"Is anyone else aware that this is a staircase? Like, seriously?" Warren was going to go along with this, sure, but he didn't have to accept even for a moment that he was on a bridge. Really.

"Guys, you know, you really probably shouldn't be heading too far."

They could get lost or something.

... Which, in retrospect, probably wouldn't be such a terrible thing, would it?

"Chaaaaaaarliiieeeeeee! Chaaaaaaaaarliiiiiiieeeeeee! Chaaaaarliiiiiieeeee!" Harvey took in a deep breath. "CHAAAAARLIIIIIIIEEEEE!"

"I'm RIGHT HERE." It wasn't possible for Warren to growl that out any more dangerously, was it? "And my name is Warren. And what do you want?"

There was a pause.

"We're on a bridge, Chaaaaaaarliiiiiieeee!"

No, no they weren't.

They so were. "A briiiiiiiidge!"

He was going to kill them both. Painfully. As they slept. He didn't really know who either of them were, but that was not going to deter Warren if he didn't manage to escape soon.

At least the end of the staircase was in sight.

"Are we going to be doing this forever? Because you guys are kind of making me want to hurt you both. A lot."

Harvey stopped in front of the entrance to the pool and started bouncing up and down.

"WE'RE HEREEEEEEE!" He said. "CANDY MOUNTAIN! CANDY MOUNTAIN!"

"FILL ME WITH YOUR SWEET SUGARY GOODNESS!"

"Well. What do you know, Candy Mountain is the pool."

Warren did not like the direction in which this was headed, really. You could possibly tell by the way he was glancing back almost longingly toward the staircase.

"Come on, Chaaarliiiiieeeee! Go into the candy cave!" Harvey said, nodding his head towards the pool.

"The candy caaaaaave," Temari added. She was helpful like that.

He was fully dressed, he didn't know how to swim, and Warren hated about everything in the universe just then.

"Yeaaaah. Thanks, but no thanks. I'm going to stay out here."

Out here, after all, did not involve horrific death by drowning via crazed classmates.

"You have to go into the candy cave, Chaaaaaaarliiiieeeee!" Harvey insisted. "There are magical wonders to behold when you enter!"

"You have toooooo!" Temari added. "It's the Candy Caaaaaaaaave."

He wasn't going to win this battle, was he?

"Okay. Fine. I'll go into the freaking Candy Cave."

He walked up to the edge of the pool, holding his arms out to the sides for emphasis. See? He was totally in the cave.

"This had better end soon."
