The Stables, Saturday Afternoon

Everything was lovely today, walking with Spirit back to the stables, she couldn't help smiling and blushing at thoughts of Prom and earlier in the morning.

"You're in a rare mood, Adora," Spirit said, nudging her shoulder.

"I'm happy, Spirit. Things are going so well with Edward and everyone is safe for now." It was rare that she could say that and feel she wasn't about to jinx herself with a Horde attack.

"You do realize when you say things like that--"

"Yes, Spirit," she cut in with a laugh. "But I mean it. Nothing can ruin this happy day."

Poor Adora was still so new.

"What is that supposed to mean?" Adora asked. "I was under the impression I was their mother..."

"What does that mean?" Hannibal asked and then added, "Punkin?"

Maybe that would help.

"Momma was She-Ra when her and daddy's love made twins," Madison informed them. How or why she knew this was anybody's guess.

"...your mother's She-Ra?" Hannibal asked, blanching as he looked from Madison to Hamilton.

Adora smacked her palm against her forehead. "For the love of Grayskull! But, I admit, if anyone was going to get in She-Ra's leotard it would be you, Hannibal."

"Oh wow." Well, that was both awesome for his prowess and...well, She-Ra was just damn hot. "Do I call you anything, uh, Hamilton?"

At least he wasn't a Hannibal.

"You call me your Ham Sandwich," Hamilton grinned. "But momma says I'm not edible."

"Ham Sandwich," Hannibal repeated, laughing. "Wow. I have...twins. With a superhero. A hot one."

"Uh. Do you guys...wanna see her?"

"Hi, still standing here," Adora interjected. "And, I hate to break it to you, Hannibal," she lowered her voice, "but she and I are the same person."

"I know, I know, I'm sorry," he said and rubbed his head, still trying to process this. "I've got three kids apparently. My brain is just screaming here."

He rubbed his head.

"Ham Sandwich, how old are you?"

"I'm just past six!" Hamilton told him proudly. "I'm not a baby anymore!"

"Practically a man," Hannibal said impressively. "And can you and Madison do...the things your mom can?"

"Does she look like anybody's gonna give her a sword?" Hamilton asked. Come on.

If Hannibal let himself believe it, he swore this kid had his attitude. "Do I have a sword?"

"No, but Uncle Adam's offered to give you his a few times an' mom gets all kinds of mad about it." Probably the manner of his uncle's offer.

"Why can't I have a sword?" Hannibal asked Adora like she'd know.

"Really? You want a sword?" Adora asked, already facepalming over what Hamilton had said about Adam and poor Edward and Hannibal wanted a sword.

"I can always give you one."

"That! Just like that is how Uncle Adam says it!" Hamilton was so proud.

"Does Uncle Adam not like me?" Hannibal asked, addressing the question to the twins.

Madison nearly fell on the floor laughing. "Just because someone doesn't like you, doesn't mean they're not family and they aren't good people," she recited.

"Uncle Adam is the bad 'j' word," Hamilton nodded. "You say it alla time!"

"Jerk?" Hannibal guessed. "Uncle Adam's a jerk? Holy crap, you're so She-Ra's kids. What genes of mine did you get?"

Madison gasped. "NO! He's jealous!"

"Your brother's jealous because I knocked you up?" Hannibal asked, frowning. "Why would that makes him jealous?"

"Perhaps Adam wasn't lucky enough to find the right girl," Adora suggested.

Even if that was not at all why he would be jealous.
