Fifth Floor Common Room, Late Saturday Morning

"There's some orange juice in the fridge," Ronan said, as he pulled two tumblers out of the cupboard. "D'you want to pour us some?"

He started assembling items for breakfast -- eggs, bread, bacon, sausage...

[Open! And there will be lots of food to share, oh yes.]

Colin held up five fingers. "Five!" he exclaimed. He looked her over. "I never had a sister before, but I think you'll do quite nicely." He nodded in satisfaction.

Katrina snickered, glad to be the oldest. She'd always wanted another brother or sister, so... "Yeah, I think you'll do." She grinned at him a little, then said, "Can I cut your hair?"

Why not? She got to cut her dolls' hair.

"No-oo!" Colin's hands flew to cover his hair. "I like it!"

"Please?" Katrina wheedled. "It'll look so pretty..." She sighed, not really expecting he would've gone for it. "Okay. Here, have your juice. Do you live with Dad and Tony?"

"Thank you," he said, accepting his juice. "Um." He wasn't sure who she meant. "I live with Daddy and Da," he said, pointing to Tony and Ronan.

Katrina nodded, then pointed at Ronan. "He's my Daddy too. My mom lives in London. But I met your Da here, a couple times." She tilted her head to study him, one way, then the other. "Are you magic? Or do you have a mom somewhere?"

"I had a mommy once," Colin told her. It wasn't the first time someone had asked him about his mom and he knew what his daddies had told him. "But she had to go to Timeheart so she gave me to Daddy and Da to be their very own!"

Katrina knew what Timeheart was; Daddy had explained it when her dog had died a couple years ago. She patted Colin on the shoulder, and said, "It's the best place ever. But I'm glad she gave you to your Dads. Do you guys all live in Ireland, like Daddy and me?"

Colin shook his head. "In Vancouver. Daddy makes movies. We visit Ireland lots! But I never saw you there."

"It was a different Ireland, maybe," Katrina said, nodding seriously. "There's lots of them, and there's Underhill, and Tir-na-Og, and other places. So that's not a s'prise. Your daddy makes movies?!" That was almost as cool as being a wizard.

Colin nodded. "He tells everyone what to do!"

"Awesome. My mom does that at her work too." Katrina grinned at him. "But she does money things, it's boring." Well, except for the secret parts. "What kinda movies? Did he ever put you in one?"

"Mostly talking," Colin said, who had visited the set a couple of times. "They put the 'splosions an' stuff in later. I'm not going to be in movies. I'm going to fly planes!"

"Also cool," Katrina decided. "Good. You get to be my brother." She grinned at him to show she was joking. "I'm gonna be a wizard, maybe. And save the world!"
