Fourth Floor Common Room; Saturday Evening [ 04/11 ].

It had happened to them at least twice already, so neither Teddy nor Chad were very surprised to find their after-prom morning interrupted by a very familiar face.

But there was at least something new this time around. Orden, after all, had yet to meet Galliano.

Chad would feel sorry for the cat if he hadn't already known the cat was a masochist and probably loved all the attention that he was getting from the half-Skrull spawn.

The little family had relocated down to the common room, looking to find some dinner.

"So what are we making?"

[[ so very, very open! Chad and Teddy and Orden will love to feed more mouths, too! ]]

"That's really young," Orden said, because it really was. "I'm nine. And they're totally nerds, trust me. Dad reads a lot of comic books and Papa always makes rules about what I can do."

"Yes, but I's getting to go to school soon," she argued. "I's getting bigger every day. Reading is good for you. Mommy reads alla time but daddy makes me go to bed early. I don't like rules."

"Me, neither," Orden agreed. "I try to break some of them, but not the ones that are too hard to break."

"Do you's ever get in trouble?" she asked, in awe of anyone who dared to try and break the rules.

"Sometimes," Orden admitted. "But I'm getting better at it. I'm lucky if Papa catches me; he's a softy."

"I's not break 'em yet, but I get tempsted sometimes. But grandma, she makes me sit in time out for no reason, just 'cause I's talking and won't shuts up. It's what she says. Talk talk talk."

"When I have to sit in time out, I try to work on my shape-shifting!"

[identity profile] weetinyreyes.livejournal.com 2009-04-12 03:06 am (UTC)(link)
"What's shape-shifting? Like squares and triangles and circles?"

"It's turning into stuff!" Orden said proudly. "My Dad's really good at it; Papa is sometimes, but I'm still not very good."

[identity profile] weetinyreyes.livejournal.com 2009-04-12 03:13 am (UTC)(link)
She inhaled on a little gasp. "For real turning into stuffs? Like a... doggie?"

[identity profile] senorhulko.livejournal.com 2009-04-12 03:21 am (UTC)(link)
"Doggie's kind of hard," Orden admitted. "Dad can do that, but I can just change hair colour and stuff."

Annie Claire leaned towards him and whispered on a great puff of air, "Show me?"

Orden sucked in a breath, giving a wary look toward his fathers. "I don' tknow," he said, leaning back, "if I should. My dads might get mad at me; I'm not supposed to use it frivi...frivilo...sometimes. So you gotta be really, really quiet about it." He held up a finger to his lips for emphasis; you had to make these sorts of things really clear with littler kids.
