Third Floor Common Room - Sunday Morning

Peace had reigned in room 338 for precious few hours. Said peace was broken at the crack of dawn by a small girl with wings proclaiming "He is Risen, Hallelujah!"

The perils of having a half-angel child on a major Christian holiday.

Which would be why Joan and her children were in the common room at an ungodly early hour, dying Easter Eggs. Gabby had tried insisting on church, but Joan placated her with watching mass on television.

Jess thought about that, and realized that had the possibility of being even more entertaining than a movie. "I think that could be arranged," he said. "We might have to call early though. He's too old to stay up late."
