Fourth floor common room, Sunday morning
Dean was up fairly bright and early -- or at least what he considered bright and early -- and out in the Common Room cooking mass amounts of breakfast. Both John William and Cas were helping and he suspected that even if no one else showed up, the three of them would be able to polish off a good portion of what they were cooking.
And then maybe later he'd take them out for pie.
The boys were Winchesters after all.

The boys were Winchesters after all.

"... You'd be the ones going home," she pointed out logically. "I'm not going anywhere."

"Why not?" Hamilton asked will his youthful innocence.

Cue lip wibble.
no subject
"Oh, sweetie, I was only teasing," she said quickly. "You should know I love him a whole lot," she tried, scrambling to make that wibble go away.
no subject
Wow, this was weird.

The twins, also, were watching this exchange. How many people did their father love, after all? Sheesh. He was spreading mom's message all over.

Nate eyed her too, prodding at her leg from his spot. "What 'bout miiine?" he pressed.
Uh. "... Sure, of course."
Now it was really weird.

Wince.
"In different ways."
Wince.

That... would placate all these assorted little kids that were staring at them, right?
And maybe stop Hannibal from looking quite as uncomfortable as he did right now.

"Momma has prettier hair," Madison said.
"Kid, this isn't a competition," Hannibal said, making a face. "Everyone has pretty hair."
"Pretty hair is for girls," Hamilton interjected. "I have radical hair."
Of course he did.

"I do, Daddy!" Madison said, waving a hand.
"What happened to Daddy?" Hamilton asked curiously.
"Nothing!" Hannibal said, clapping a hand to his hair. "Nothing at all."
no subject
See, she can keep a secret!
"He got flower hair!" Uh, Nate on the other hand? No such loyalties. Ah.

"You're sleeping on the floor tonight, Nate."
Arguing with a child. Oh yes.
no subject
"You can stay with him for the night," Angela decided at that point. Wasn't like Chuck didn't have a huge bed anyway. Finding these kids places to sleep wasn't the easiest task.
no subject
Not the floor. As if.

Little arms and legs were painful.
no subject
"Oh, like you're getting away with a good night's sleep while I get kicked in the middle of the night."
no subject
"Hey," Hamilton said, picking up on something. "Daddy only sleeps with our mommy!"
Oh boy.
no subject
"You should ask your daddy all about that," she said.
Passing that riiiiight on. Yes. He'd do it to her, and had already.
no subject
Hannibal, for his part, wanted to just crawl into a hole and live out his life as a hermit.
"Daddy doesn't sleep with anyone," he tried. "Daddy sleeps alone."
no subject
Angela snorted, but nodded along, "Right, and so do I."
She really hoped this wasn't going to get another wibbling outburst from Kendal. Really.
no subject
"But but but but but," Kendal blubbered, sniffling. "But you said!"
She pointed at them both, accusing in that childlike way all children had. The kind that made you want to die.
"But!"
