Second Floor Common Room, Saturday Morning

After a certain wakeup call, Jack had arranged the furniture in the Common Room to approximate the inside of a semi: two small chairs and a couch facing the TV as the driver's seat and the sleeper cab, the rest of the chairs and couches in an arrangement as the trailer, as Jack was determined to drive his load all through the day and night, if need be, steering around obstacles with his dinner-plate steering wheel.

At about midnight, Jack finally came to his senses and realized... he'd just spent the last fourteen hours pretending to drive.

"Well, at least I have the stamina to pull this off," he said, getting out of the chair.

It took three tries, and he was limping down the hallway back to his room with leg cramps.
