Outer Space (Or, Second Floor Common Room to those not currently hallucinating) Wednesday Morning

Last night, Robin had gotten his Gremlin mask, and then ventured into the ventilation system in search of the Gremlins, armed with a note-pad.

This morning, the small fuzzy creature that emerged from the vents was not a talking frog. Well it was, but he didn't know that.

Dear Nephew, Traveling Matt wrote in his journal, I have just emerged from the strange shiny caves into a region of Outer Space that the Silly Creatures use as their nesting ground.

Jack was fairly certain he wasn't hallucinating. Okay, so there was the possibility, because whatever was in the fridge had gone bad, but he'd cut that part out and ate the rest. He'd be fine, right?

...did he just see his roommate crawl out of the vent? "Hey. You okay?"

"Woah!" Traveling Matt dove behind the couch. He'd been spotted! He couldn't observe the Silly Creatures properly if they were aware of his presence.

"What, is there something behind me?" Jack asked, whirling around, hoping it wasn't Ino something scary.

Matt couldn't help looking too. Was there? Hmm, nope. He ducked back behind the couch again

"Okay, so what the heck is going on here?" Jack crossed his arms, his foot tapping slightly.

Matt had to think quickly. "...Squeak." Maybe the Silly Creature would think he'd just seen a mouse and forget about him.

"..right. I need coffee. I can't deal with this now." Jack started towards the door.

The Silly Creatures in this region of Outer Space appear to be intimidated by mice.
