The Salle, Friday Morning
It was supposed to be time for Dinah's staff practice. Right now, with the aggrevation of the new students arriving, Arthur was sorely in need of some aggravation he could at least predict.
It was typical, of course, that she hadn't shown yet. Instead, Arthur took the time to run through some staff drills of his own. Into every movement, he channeled memories of home, taking them like tight strings of sanity to drag back towards him. Captain Algren had been more than right about culture shock - it was nice to have a name to pin to his condition.
Of course, he had now effectively made himself terribly homesick, and admitting to that just wouldn't do.
[[ thread with arthur locked to one, salle is open otherwise; i will likely be insanely SP ]]

He found Arthur but stood back a bit, not wanting to approach the cranky guy with a weapon. Instead he waved. "Um. Arthur?"

He figured Tony would have Dinah's 'number'.

Because that made it sound so much less dirty, Arthur.

If he noticed any innuendo, he was going to ignore it.
...After a pause, he did add, "You'll tell me if she needs any help?"

He had only recently graduated from shaking it and mashing buttons.

He was squinting his eyes to adjust to the glare, for the most part. He rattled off the number on it with a somewhat dubious intonation.
He still didn't quite Get It, but Reno said it worked like that.

"Of course I do," he said, lifting an eyebrow straight back at Tony. "Do you?"

He was trying to contain it, though, and pressed the 'take call' button, or whatever it was, as Romeo had explained it.
