The Salle, Wednesday evening
Zayne frequently worked on his Force skills. He less frequently worked on his lightsaber skills. And he almost never worked on defense against blasters. But Tahiri handwavily was letting him borrow her remote, so he was looking to rectify that tonight.
Zayne set up in the salle, ignited his lightsaber, and turned the remote on. Zayne realized very quickly that he wasn't half bad at deflecting blasts (albeit completely wildly). Unfortunately, this meant that he was only slightly better than half good at deflecting blasts, so there was a lot of mild cursing about how much it stung with he got hit.
[OOC: Open as a place filled with swords tends to be. Spectate, heckle, practice, whatever!]

Zayne's voice may have suggested a verbal facepalm at that, even if his face and hand didn't physically meet.

And he was completely in control of himself, so he didn't need to use the mantra or anything.

It was soft and short and sweet, and in some odd way took a lot less courage than she'd thought it would.
