The Salle, Monday Morning (before classes)
After several months, there were few things as comforting as the Monday morning routine of heading into the salle for practice, if Arthur was going to be brutally honest. While he was in here, with his students, he could sort of pretend the world was working the way the world usually did back home; and back home was troubling enough.
So the first Monday morning of the new term found him back there, same as always, going through his drills while Merlin did his chores and kept an eye on things from his corner of the room. Normal.
Although Arthur was contemplating sending him another text message. Or two.
[[ open salle is open as per usual! ]]

Merlin rolled his eyes as he hit send, certain Arthur would only be encouraged by it.
* this was, of course, meant for someone completely different.

Even though Francine was starting to move from huffy to just confused, she felt the exclamation marks were earned there.

Apparently not to me. Um. Oops?

If a text message was able to sound sheepish, this one would.

Yeah, I... sent yours to Arthur. It was about kissing.

Merlin stared at his phone for a moment.

From the distance of Not Actually Talking To Arthur she could reply with a little less flail and maybe even approach dry. Well, maybe damp.
He's glad I didn't offend my own virtue. Whatever that means. And really really sure anybody he kissed would remember it.
Not that he was wrong, since he had and she did, but.

He's -- Arthur -- fine. He just thinks we're dorks. It took her a second to translate the second part to English, but when she did, Francine smiled and tapped out He's not wrong, but I love you anyway.
