Main Campfire, Monday Evening

"No, Kate, you can't have a s'more," Bobby said sternly to the cat who was currently nosing around the s'more ingredients he'd set up. "Because s'mores aren't for cats, that's why."

No, he couldn't actually understand cat. He's just Bobby, and physically incapable of shutting up for more than a few minutes at a time.

"That would have been way too much work to keep food to yourself," Zayne joked as he helped himself to S'morey goodness. "You're new here, right?"

"I'm far too lazy for that," Bobby agreed with a nod. At least he admitted it. "Yeah, got here on Friday. So far I've run into one of my best friends except from a different universe or timeline or something," WTF WTF old Warren WTF? "and my roommate turned into a cat," he gestured at Kate. "So. Settling in, I guess."

"I'm from another galaxy and have classmates who live thousands of years after my time," Zayne said empathatically. "Fortunately, that kind of thing helps you get used Fandom a lot more quickly. You have me beat with the roommate thing, though."

"Thousands?" Bobby blinked. Kyle had been trippy enough and they were only talking about, like, not even a decade of difference there. "I don't know, I think travelling to a whole new galaxy is kind of... whoa." So descriptive.

"I've been to a bunch of planets, so I'm kind of used to it," Zayne said. "It's just that this planet is a lot farther from home than I've ever been before."

"See, now I feel all inexperienced 'cause I've never even left *this* planet," Bobby complained.

"I'm sorry," Zayne said. "If it helps, there's always a chance you might get to do it here. There are enough people from space to help you with that."

"That'd be ace!" Bobby said, switching gears practically instantaneously. "You know anyone with a spaceship?" Oh man, Hank would totally be jealous if Bobby got to go into space.

"Master Skywalker," Zayne said. "He's one of the teachers here. He'll never let you use it, though."

"Hm," Bobby frowned. "Clearly I should have asked 'Do you know anyone with a spaceship that'd let me use it and/or be a passenger?'"

"I don't," Zayne said. "But there are always field trips."

Field trips always seemed to end in fighting something. Like that last time- okay, yeah, not thinking about that. "I'll keep that in mind," he said instead. "I'm Bobby, by the way."
