Main Campfire, Monday Evening
"No, Kate, you can't have a s'more," Bobby said sternly to the cat who was currently nosing around the s'more ingredients he'd set up. "Because s'mores aren't for cats, that's why."
No, he couldn't actually understand cat. He's just Bobby, and physically incapable of shutting up for more than a few minutes at a time.
[ooc: open! location moved 'cos I'm a dolt who didn't notice there was already an evening post set at Ninth Hell. not deleting this time, I promise.]

Marshmallows swallowed and giggles finished, she waved a hand. "Eat first, then talk. I'll remember next time. Let's try that again. Hello, how are you, what cabin are you gracing with your presence?"
no subject
"Might be a good idea," she said, with a grin and checking to see if her latest marshmallow had been cooked enough before sticking it back in the fire. "I'm pretty well--ordered shelves for my plants today, and I'm gracing Lightning Bug cabin with my glorious presence."
A beat.
"When I'm not out here 'cause it's way too nice to stick indoors. What cabin has you in its clutches? And how're you liking Fandom?"
no subject
She offered a light smile. "Abaranger. I don't know what an Abaranger is, or how to pronounce it, either. I ... I like it, here. So far, I mean."
no subject
She wasn't sure how else to say 'well, compared to what I've heard of your world, I can see why'.
"Abaranger," Ino added, pronouncing it precisely. "It's a--show. All the cabins are based on shows this time 'round. Yours, I think, is something 'bout good guys fighting evil." She was vague on this, admittedly, but Ino didn't watch that much television. "And mine's got something to do with these people out in space."
no subject
"Abaranger," she repeated, echoing Ino's pronunciation. "Are either of our shows any good? I feel like I should at least watch an episode of it, now. The cabin equivalent of being patriotic. I'm going to be disappointed if it's crappy."
no subject
Ino didn't sound entirely sure about that, but that's what she remembered.
[And I need to crash for the night. SP is shiny?]

(SP is win! Night!)

Which decreased the odds that anyone else would go along with it considerably, yes.

Hmm.
"Or we could do it, whoever out of the two of us likes more of the shows is the winner?"
no subject
"We could ... get one person from each cabin," she mused, "and everyone votes on all the shows except their own. It doesn't rule out people doing underhanded vote-swaps, but no system is perfect."

She considered. "We could have a drinking game, to go with it," she mused. "So it'd help if it as people who aren't going to faint at the idea."
Not that she supposed Ino had a lot of friends who were likely to pearl-clutch at the thought of alcohol, but you never knew.

And laughed.
"I don't think I'll have many issues with a drinking game. That might be a draw for some of them. That," Ino grinned, "and pretty girls."
no subject
A girl had needs, okay?
no subject
"I can think of a few," she laughed. "It shouldn't be a problem. Are we limiting this to only the number of cabins? Or just those in the vote that are limited?"
no subject
Besides, there were a few rookies she could drag into it, in that case. She was determined to be a bad influence for those that desperately needed one.
no subject
This was Ino's way of utterly agreeing with everything Elena had said there.

If everyone got too drunk, no one would remember the shows, in order to vote on them. Elena was willing to take that chance.

Ino was pretty easy.

She'd handle posters, but it was hard to put them up when you were stuck at work for eight hours.

"Is it okay if they're ugly?" she asked. "I don't really have any ... artistic talent or whatever."
