son of the beach campfire | evening | friday | july 17
With nothing else to do, Alex wandered out to his cabin's campfire and took a seat. Since he no longer had the random urge to sing about things no one needed to know about, he thought being out in the open was safe. Of course, that wasn't going to stop him from keeping a nondescript bottle next to his side in case he did start singing. That'd help with not remembering if he started to sing again.
And, while he didn't particularly mind lazing by a campfire, he really needed to find something to do this weekend that kept him engaged. Or, at least, entertained. Maybe he'd steal something else of Griff's. Or something.
[ooooopen campfire. friday evenings are lazeh.]

Dinah grinned. "Yeah, I love it here. Best place for me. And in another year, no one in New Gotham will remember why I left, I hope. Maybe I'll be better at avoiding those guys and keeping my temper too." She cocked her head, and instead of asking 'why' -- which could be problematic, she said, "So what do you think of the place, after what, nine weeks?"
