4th Floor Common Room - Thursday Evening

One would think that after the bit on the beach with the nakedness and the staring, Rose would have learned to run far, far away from gremlins when they ventured near.

One would think.

Rose, however, was special too busy berating the gremlin for stealing her clothes in the first place to notice him coming closer, fangs bared.

Which was why shortly there after, Rose came rushing into the common room, her hair fixed by little birdies caught back in a ribbon and the long skirts of what looked like one of Morgana's dresses swirling about her ankles.

"Oh my! This is a terrible mess," she exclaimed, clapping her hands together in front of her chest as she surveyed the Common Room. "We'd better clean it quickly before our little friends come home from the mines. They'll have had a long day's work, and they'll want their dinner."

A moment later, she was skipping around the room, wielding a duster and a mop and somehow managing to leave everything sparkly clean in her wake.It was probably the song that Rose was happily carolling that did it.

Robin came in about then, and didn't immediately realize that there was anything hugely strange about this.

"Why of course!" Rose said happily. "Maybe you could get your little squirrel and bunny friends to help? Work goes so much faster when we all work together."

Kyle hadn't been planning on stopping on the 4th floor - at least not until he heard the singing. Then there was a Reese watching from the doorway. "Rose?" he asked, interrupting.

"Hello!" she caroled, breaking out of her song. "Are you one of the dwarves? I thought there were seven, but you could be the eighth!"

"I'm not a dwarf," Kyle protested. "What's a dwarf anyway?"

Adora was always up to hear a song and so she found herself in the common room. "Hello, friend! Oh, I see you are cleaning, may I help in some way?"

Sad fact: Adora had not been bit by a gremlin.

"..." Rose didn't actually know. "They're little men who mine gems! I'm Snow White." She tilted her head, studying Kyle. "I bet your name's Tiny, right?"

"That would be so nice of you!" Rose said happily. "Usually there are little birds who help, but maybe they're out building nests tonight."

"Oh! Maybe we can entice them to return by getting the job done quickly and correctly," Adora suggested, picking up a sofa pillow and fluffing it neatly. "Are you the usual maid here?"

"Oh no," Rose said. Silly, silly Adora. "I'm Snow White. My little friends will be home soon, and I want their cottage to be spic and span!"

Well, the intention had been to do as Gabrielle suggested and find a different common room to watch the last disc of Go-Between Guy, but that sort of got derailed by, well. By the singing.

So there was Bobby, standing in the doorway to the common room with a DVD boxset in his hands and gaping at Rose.

"Um. Rose?"

Rose looked up from where she was fluttering a duster over the window. "When there's too much to do..." she let trail off. "I'm not Rose. I'm Snow White!"

"But this is a common room," Adora told her, knowing that for certain. "We left the cottages a few weeks ago!" Those were cabins, hon.

"...Since when?" Maybe she'd hit her head and got amnesia? Or someone had altered her memories? Or... yep, no one had actually told Bobby about gremlins. Ooops.

"A common room?" Rose looked confused. "But then where will the little men go? I wouldn't want them to be lost."

"No, it's Kyle." Tiny indeed. Not that Rose was actually going to listen, but he didn't know that. "And I don't mine gems. I'm a soldier, remember? With the Resistance."

Alex tended to wander when she was bored, so it was no surprise to find her up one floor from her own. Figuring people would be in the common room, she headed down the hall, never expecting to walk in on... well, what she walked in on.

"Um."

"She's gone crazy," Kyle whispered far too loud for an actual whisper. "Or Rose has a twin sister she didn't tell us about."

"Do you know Snow White?" Reese asked. It always helped to get a second opinion about whether or not you were seeing things that weren't really there.

"Normally the little men go to their rooms," Adora replied, a little confused why Snow White was worried about them being lost in the dorms. "There are many on each hallway!"

"Since forever, silly," she said, laughing at the silly boy. "Or since my dear mother named me."

"Why not yet! But I've only just met her and I'm sure she'll be a wonderful friend," Adora told the boy with a smile.

"I just talked to her like the other day and she was fine!" Bobby replied in a not-really-whisper of his own.

"The Resistance?" she repeated, clasping her hands under her cheek as she studied him more closely. "Whatever could you be resisting?"

Bobby was pretty sure her 'dear mother' had named her Rose, but maybe... "Do you have a sister?"
