Fifth Floor Common Room, Monday Evening

Jennifer Walters was not an expert baker.

That would be why she had given up on actually attempting to bake cookies, and was just eating the cookie dough raw and watching her favorite movie, Beautiful in Blush.

She'd share the dough, though. She'd feel such a pig if she ate it all herself. Not that she wouldn't just burn all the calories next time she changed into the She-Hulk.

[ooc: Open!]

Helen wandered in to see what was on TV. She nodded at Jennifer. "Hello."

"The dough?" Helen asked curiously, moving closer. "What do you mean?"

"I've never done anything like that before," Helen admitted, but she got a spoon and sat near her gingerly.

"What is that?"

"But... why is it in that tube?

Helen frowned thoughtfully. "That seems odd." She carefully took a tiny bit of the dough on her spoon and tried it. One eyebrow went up. "That is good," she admitted.

"Cherry Garcia?" Helen asked, feeling massively stupid. "Some sort of pastry?"

[identity profile] elephantgadget.livejournal.com 2009-08-11 03:06 am (UTC)(link)
"Oh." Helen considered that for a moment. "I don't think I've ever actually had ice cream."

[identity profile] elephantgadget.livejournal.com 2009-08-11 03:11 am (UTC)(link)
"I don't think so," Helen said. "Not that I remember anyway. I've had cookies, though."

Helen frowned again. "Lactose. That's a disaccharide foud in milk, yes? I have no problems with milk, so it's not likely that I am intolerant to lactose."

"I'm free most days," Helen said. "I work on Thursday, but other than that and classes I'm free."

[identity profile] elephantgadget.livejournal.com 2009-08-11 03:25 am (UTC)(link)
Helen nodded. "I'd like that. I should probably shower after work. Horses are wonderful, but not everyone likes the smell."

Helen smiled and took another small spoonful of the cookie dough. "Sounds like a good plan," she agreed.

[identity profile] elephantgadget.livejournal.com 2009-08-11 03:51 am (UTC)(link)
"I'll take your word for it," Helen said with a smile. "Obviously, since I've agreed to go along,"

Though she probably would have agreed even if she'd been sure it would be disgusting. She didn't have enough people interested in spending time with her to turn down a friendly offer.

Helen turned her attention to the TV ad shook her head. "No," she admitted. "I'm afraid I haven't seen too much of this sort of thing either."

[identity profile] elephantgadget.livejournal.com 2009-08-11 04:01 am (UTC)(link)
"Oh?" Helen said curiously and gave the movie her full attention.

[identity profile] elephantgadget.livejournal.com 2009-08-11 04:06 am (UTC)(link)
"Is this a true movie or a made up one?" Helen asked curiously.

Helen watched for a while, easily getting caught up in the story, even though it was so far removed from the reality of her life that it might as well have been complete fantasy.
