3rd Floor Common Room; Tuesday morning, super early
Elle had a nightmare about giant mutant alligators. Again. This so had to stop because it was affecting her beauty sleep. Since she was awake and couldn't go back to sleep, she donned her robe and fluffy slippers, and trying not to wake her roommate or Bruiser, shuffled out and down to the common room.
It was still dark outside and she should be sound asleep, dreaming nice dreams about that cute boy in that funny movie she'd watched recently. With a little pout, she turned on the TV, kept it on mute so she didn't wake anyone up, and curled up on the sofa. Maybe she'd get up in a minute and make some muffins. For now she was content to flip through the channels, searching for something that'd take her mind off of alligators.
[[ It's almost 4am EST here. I haven't slept yet which means I'm loopy. But, la, post is open, such as it is. ]]

His own dreams he preferred to keep private.

She didn't want to talk about it anymore.
"Maybe you can get in a nap later." Elle gave him a small smile and reached over to try and pat his knee. It was awful at times, not being able to sleep.

"Can we talk about something else now?" She asked, turning her hand up to squeeze his in return, the movement gentle.

She took a sip of her coffee.
"Can you teach... a girl like me?" She was so not the fighting type omigod, but if everyone else was doing it...

Elle looked into his eyes. Such pretty, gorgeous eyes. "Do you have a pet, Leto?"
no subject
"I don't," he said. "It's rare among the Fremen."
He was tried and restless. Perhaps he could be forgiven for brushing the hair away from her face.

"Have you ever considered owning one, since coming here?" she asked, curious.
He didn't need to be forgiven. She accepted the touch with a small, endearing smile.

Leto smiled. "Turning sleepy?"
