The Deck: Tuesday Night [8-18-09]

The sky was threatening rain, but it had been hot enough that a little rain actually might not be all that bad. Besides, there was a nice breeze that felt just heavenly.

Peyton stretched out on one of the lounge chairs and debated whether she should order a pizza to be delivered. Then again, maybe she should wait. She probably wasn't the only one who'd want to take advantage of the breeze.

Claire nodded. "That's cool. I should think about visiting my family."

"I figure I should visit before fall classes start," Ellie said. "Since I decided I am going to stay here."

"You did?" Claire grinned. "That's good. I'm glad."

Ellie nodded. "Yeah, I think it'll be good for me. Plus, I like the friends I made here."

"Awwww," Ellie grinned. "Then I definitely have to stay."

Claire grinned back. "You think your family will be okay with it?"

"I think so. My brother will want wants best for me," Ellie explained. "I am not sure what my dad will think."

"You should try to convince your brother to come to school here," Claire said.

"I'm definitely gonna ask him if he wants to," Ellie said. "But it'll completely be his decision if he does or not. I know he has friends back home he may not want to leave."
