The Roof, Thursday Evening
It was too hot to stay cooped up in her room and, much like a plant, Ino needed more fresh air.
Four walls got seriously confining after awhile. Even if they were sort of soothing at the same time. The roof was decided on as a fairly easy place to lounge and the old cigarette butts got a faint smile out of her.
Perching precariously on the edge of the roof, she went back to her notes and scribbling, looking utterly comfortable.
And maybe a wee bit tired. Whatever. Dreams were stupid.

Break was next week and she wasn't going home. This seriously disturbed her.
She needed air. She needed to hit something. Unfortunately she had no more boxes of chocolate to throw against the wall.
"Oh. Hi, Ino," she said, just now noticing the other girl. "I won't bother you. I totally promise."

Ino blinked up from her notebook, shaking away the equations, and gave Elle a quizzical look.
"Oh?" she inquired archly. "I think it's more you that doesn't want to be bothered than me."

...it probably said interesting things about Ino that she was going to enjoy that fact.
"And you're not the only one who wasn't expecting company."

People were strange, weren't they? Filling up empty bottles with unfiltered water...
Pfft.
"How've you been, Leda?"

She was wiping it across her forehead as much as she was drinking it.
Noticing Ino, she frowned. "Hey Amy. Everything copacetic?"

"Is that code or something?" Ino asked, bemused. She was a clever enough girl but that word wasn't hitting any bells.

Oh, Ino.
"I'm--fine, I guess."

Which was why Thursday night, she made her way up to the roof with something vaguely resembling a remote-controlled model airplane. "Hi!" she chirped, waving Ino's way, before setting up her little winged craft on a bit of the edge of the roof.

"What is that, please?"
