The roof, Friday night
Claudia was gone. Off to the airport and from there back to Connecticut.
Forever.
He was sitting on the edge of the roof staring out over the town, kicking his boot heels against the side of the building. He'd considered bringing some of his very small stash up here for a smoke, but didn't want that to become a sad thing.
Also, being out of one's head and sitting on the edge of a long drop? Totally didn't mix.
So instead, he was just moping.
Sad punk was sad.
[ooc: and emo roof is emo. Also, open.]

Whatever. She cared but was ignoring that little prick to her pride. It was so her fault for not getting out more.
She gasped, however, when she spied the boy sitting on the edge of the roof.
"Omigod! Don't! I am so totally sure things aren't so bad!"

He'd skip the candy though.

"I've not been extremely social lately and I'm totally sorry I've not had the pleasure in meeting you before now." She extended a slender hand. "I'm Elle Woods."

"Muffins are good," he said, kinda hesitantly. "I make sandwiches."
no subject
"What kind of sandwiches?"

That's a very important question.
"I like mine with tomato."
Talking about sandwiches? Way easier at the moment than talking about Claudia leaving.

Well, he could be cheerful then. It'd be nice and distracting.
"You?"

Wow.
"It's neat to watch their brains explode," Priestly noted. "Or hear how they try to explain everything away."
Claudia had sworn for MONTHS that everyone was on drugs.

"And I'm almost certain some stories are just stories. Made up to make the new kids feel super weirded out. I'm totally not going to have fun watching brains explode. But oooh! New kids!" Maybe there will be fun new cute boys who will like to ask cute girls like herself, out on Friday nights.
Elle could only hope.
"I hope to see you there, Priestly." She did like him. He was super cute and had this bad-boyish vibe about him. Not in the Alex Karev way though omigod. Priestly was just understandably sad right now.

No, seriously. He really wasn't.
"I'll see you around, Elle. Thanks for, uh, offering skittles."

With a light bounce and spin on her three inch heels, Elle headed for the door. If Bruiser woke up, she should be there. Seriously.

She had a different way of handling people who were suffering hearbreak.
"JUMP!"

"I KNEW THAT! MAKE SURE YOU TO BEND YOUR KNEES SO YOU CAN CLEAR THE SHRUBS!"

He had no idea if that was true. Ramone did have terrible business sense, after all.
"YOU CAN HAVE MY SHARE OF THE TIN HAT BUSINESS, THOUGH."
