"It's introductions time again," Zack said, launching right into his greeting the moment it looked like everyone who was going to show up for the Reserves meeting was there. This was in no small part due to the fact that he'd only actually met one of the new kids yet, and his wiggly puppy sense was tingling.

A lot.

"Every semester we seem to get a trickle in of new faces, so it can't hurt for all of us to stand up and share! We need names, your fighting experience and weapons proficiency, and what kind of other skills you might have that would come in handy in an invasion situation!"

A pause. A kind of squirmy sway from one foot to the other. Zack wanted to get started on that noooooow.

"You new guys have probably had the invasions mentioned to you at least once by now, I hope. If not, uh... Welcome to Fandom Island! That sort of thing is what we're here for! I'll go first! I'm Zack Fair, SOLDIER 2nd Class, so yes, I am a kid in the military, and I do have a pretty decent rank, too. My weapon of choice is a sword and materia- little round spheres that let me cast spells, like fireballs or healing. I have access to items that can heal a person in a pinch, too, which comes in really handy on the field. Okay! Somebody else's turn!"

People! Introductions! Yay!

[OCD is up, and once again, the reserves are open to anyone who feels compelled to stumble along to scope it all out. We love new faces, from fighters and those interested in becoming them!]

Hey, cookies were good!

Armed with his new My Name Is Jak and I Have Difficulty Speaking sign (well, armed by having it in his pocket), Jak happily made his entrance onto the grounds, taking a cookie and chowing down on it before considering the people gathered.

...Fiona was glad to be human-shaped again just because she could come to this properly. The idea of new people had her excited.

Azula had been looking forward to this day since Dinah informed her of this group. Since this was a military reserve, Azula appeared wearing her armor. It was always good to look your best.

Tahiri didn't usually scarf down cookies at the meetings mostly because they didn't usually have cookies out at the meetings.

Someone hadn't yet recovered from third period, though.

Someone was so definitely focusing on the cookies.

Karla was here, both as a leader of another Reserve and because she had decided that she was going to 'officially' (well, as officially as they got) join the Fighting Reserve. She still was pretty much a dead amateur at everything, but she was learning. And this could only help her get better.

Hopefully.

So she had grabbed a handful of cookies and wandered around.

This was the fighting reserve that she'd been all fired up about before she got here, and no way was Kennedy missing out on it.

But... cookies? Really? That seemed pretty silly to her, so all the attention they got was a sidelong skeptical look.

Aravis had stumbled across the assembled group when she'd been out feeding Trenor today, and had come over to investigate.

Lion-o and Snarf happened to come across the group after leaving work and stuck around to see what this was all about. Or, at least, that was what Lion-o said. Snarf just stayed for the cookies.

Dinah had checked the Radio podcasts, so now knew that Arthur, Merlin, Firekeeper and Francine hadn't made Radio since Friday. Looking around, she wasn't happy to see that neither Arthur nor Merlin were there.

Nibbling on a cookie, she tried to convinced herself there was nothing to worry about. Yeah.

Jason was wandering about, getting a feel of the place, and stopped off when he noticed everyone milling about. He decided to stick around and see what was going on.

Well.

Jak held up his wee paper sign (Hi, his name was Jak, and he had difficulty speaking) before launching into a few feigned kicks and punches. He couldn't really show off the eco thing since he wasn't, you know, in possession of any, but he did punch his hand forward in a way he hoped would communicate the whole sometimes I can shoot fireballs thing.

Ben grinned at Zack. "I feel like I just did this," he teased. "I'm Ben Skywalker, and yes, if you have Master Skywalker for a class, we're related. I'm a Jedi, which means that I have faster reflexes than, well, a lot of you. My weapon of choice is the lightsaber, though I can also use a sniper rifle or just about anything else that can shoot in a pinch. Oh, and I'm also a pretty decent mechanic and pilot."

"I'm Azula, Princess of the Fire Nation. I was the right hand of the Fire Lord, the general and commander of the Fire Nation army." She crossed her arms and didn't elaborate on her campaigns. "I'm a Master Firebender and an expert in hand-to-hand combat and proficient in the use of bladed weapons. I am swift, agile and deadly in combat."

"This is why I let Ben talk first," Tahiri said with a slight smirk before she actually went into her introduction. "Tahiri Veila. Like he said, I'm a Jedi. I'm pretty decent at using telekinesis in a fight now, and my weapon of choice is the lightsaber too. I can use a gaderffii, a blaster or a staff, too. And I wouldn't say I'm great at it but I've got some piloting experience now."

And now I'm looking up at the comm tags and being really, really amused that the People Without Apparent Surnames contingent is getting close to being an even split with the People Who Have Them. Everything is funny to me today, though, 'cause I think my head's about to 'splode from owie. :(
