Salle, Monday Morning

After a week, showing back up in the salle was turning back into the calming ritual that it had been. And at least he hadn't gotten abducted to anything this weekend (if you didn't count Zack's birthday party, which he'd been dutybound to show up to no matter what) so it was with reasonable calm that Arthur made his way down into the salle with his sword, picked a good spot, and went to work.

He might even get a few drills in before Tweety showed up. That would be encouraging.

Merlin, of course, was back to work in the corner, and got his usual occasional glance. Or text message.

Not to make fun of Chuck, of course. That would be undignified.

Arthur sighed, rubbed his brow, and said, "I'm looking forward to all the e's, Merlin," with a slight snerk in his voice before he lifted his sword again.
