The Salle - Wednesday morning - 9/23

Fiona hadn't come to the salle for a while, since she had no regular lessons and she'd been trying to find other ways to deal with some of her emotional issues, but she considered this morning a perfect opportunity for a visit.

A sword was pulled out, drills were started... she was trying not to go after the training dummies today, and the drills were helping on their own. The new balance and the slightly different biomechanics were interesting to work through, after all, and the new height felt rather nice as well. As long as she didn't think too hard about the fact that she was, in fact, a man right now, she could actually enjoy this whole mess.

"Just some declensions tonight," she said with a shrug.

"Could we do something? Or is this... if it's too weird, you can just say so."

It was weird, but he felt he could suck it up. "Uh, no, it's just weird enough, I think. Want I should stop in or did you want to go out?"

She grinned, which looked a little more wicked than usual, and shook her head.

"Checking on a present for you... that you are not getting today. Soon, though."

"A present?" The wicked smile was a little scary with him not knowing what this gift was nor where she got it from. "Do I get a hint?"

He wondered if it was a camera. He didn't have one of those. "Okay, I'll let you have your surprise then," Griff replied.

That made her smile and she offered her hand for his. She wouldn't presume right now. She knew how weird this could be.

"Have you got enough coffee today?"

"I think I'm due for some more," he answered, hesitating just a little before taking her hand. It was weird. Guys didn't hold hands.

She was most certainly not a guy, no matter what body she was in. She gave him a squeeze as a thank you, though.

"We could walk down, then. Maybe catch a movie. Or watch that one we didn't end up watching. We're not going to have that happen tonight, I'm sure."

"No," he shook his head, definitely not thinking about things that could interrupt them. "I mean, that would be even weirder, right. We should try doing something not weird."
