There was hopefully no way that Ino could begrudge Cal having her party a day late, especially since it was a far cry from being a day short. The food he had planned caused him to get some use out of that sixth floor kitchen and space, and he'd been to the task ever since he finished with Oceanography class in hopes to get it finished before everyone started showing up. If they did. He'd ~~handwavily because the mun sucks~~ passed out the invitations through everyone's door, but who only knew with the drama of yesterday.

If no one showed up, he'd have to deal with a pouting Ino. But, on the bright side, he'd have all this delicious Greek food for leftovers basically until eternity, because there was a lot of it.

He'd even decorated a little, subtly, with some occasional touch of purple. And a "HAPPY BIRTHDAY INO!" banner in case anyone couldn't figure out what it was all about. Throw on some music, and there it was. There was nothing to the party part. It was mostly about the food, anyway.

Oh, and Ino. Her, too.

"But people'd also manage to get some while I'm doing it that way," she pointed out.

She shrugged, not put out by this.

"Guess I'll just have to share them." A beat. "Have you tried one yet?"

"Actually haven't," Angela admitted. "But I definitely have plans on them." Because look at them. "Later. I haven't had the chance to talk to you for ages, so, making the most of it right now."

Ino grinned. "As if I'd shoo people away from me," Ino teased, "totally, I guess we just keep missing each other? What've you been up to anyway?"

"I don't even know," Angela admitted with a laugh. "The usual? Classes, clubs, being a man for a day..." The usual.

"Wasn't that fun and exciting?" Ino rolled her eyes sky-ward. "I'm so glad it only lasts one day, seriously."

"It was... an experience." Angela wasn't going to completely write it off. She'd had her fun, but-- "I'll take being a girl any day. It really didn't take long to start missing my boobs."

"You do get rather used to them," she agreed. "Though mostly I hated the fact that my center of gravity was totally shot to hell."

"I only really noticed that trying to do cheerleading." And she pulled a face. "Not a fan."

"The height..." That was fun. "I could live with that."

"Lucky," she said enviously. "I wasn't much taller or anything--I guess I'm wee as a boy too."

"There is something they say about the best things being in small packages," Angela reminded her. "Keep thinking that. Small is adorable."

Ino grinned. "I think that works less well for guys, though."
