The Roof, Friday morning
Raven woke up early Friday morning beglittered and mortified. She wasn't sure what had happened the night before at Karla's slumber party, but she was convinced it was somehow her fault. The first time she'd encountered not-the-vampire Max, she'd slept with Chuck. Thursday afternoon she'd lost her hold on her fear and anger around Max again, and then that evening the party had turned into a veritable orgy of kissing. Both times she'd craved comfort and pleasant feelings to balance out the bad, so of course she must've caused it somehow. Because everyone knew glitter didn't cause girls to kiss.
Diana was still sleeping, so Raven went up to the roof to try to meditate. Stupid emotions. Stupid boys. Stupid kissing.Still not king.
[Roof is open, of course. Save me from doing actual work!]

She saw Raven and could tell the other girl was meditating. She debated saying hello or just heading down to one of the common rooms.

Granted he didn't have as good a reason as Rachel, but still being stuck as guy was a pretty good reason to head to the roof.
"Hey," he grunted as he wandered out on the rooftop.

"Good morning," she said politely in greeting.

"I was attempting to meditate," she admitted. "My day yesterday was unsettling."

"The sleepover overwhelm you a bit?" Layla asked sympathetically. "Looked liked everyone was having a good time."
For his part, Layla had sat in the corner drinking and just watching the festivities. "If you'd rather meditate, I can go somewhere else."

"No. I just look a lot like him at the moment," Layla smirked. "It's Layla Miller, actually."
[Okay. I so didn't get this notification yesterday!]
