Kappa Kappa Gremlin Meeting, After Classes, Friday

"Good afternoon, Kappa Kappa Gremlin," Arthur called, standing firmly at ease in front of the crowd. "Today, Hannibal has devised a test for your mettle..." You could kind of tell he was struggling not to laugh.

And Hannibal was shooting him glares, just daring him to laugh. But, he had better things to do so he turned back to the frat.

"And no, it's not our version of what apparently went on last night on the sixth floor," he added. Dammit, why hadn't he wandered up there? "Today, we're going to see how tough you are in the realm of...food consumption."

"Food consumption," Arthur repeated. He had nothing but a very effective oh-dear-lord-did-you-catch-this-guy-talking face. It was an admirable sign of restraint, really. "Is vital."

"It is," Hannibal insisted like he could make Arthur believe it with just the power of his words. Fat chance but he'd still try. "So, today, we're going to see how many...hot dogs you can eat without making a mess."

If anyone threw up, Hannibal was giving them a mop and a some paper towels.

"Well, you all have your marching orders," Arthur said, by now utterly beaming. He didn't even have to say anything. Hannibal kind of mocked himself. "Get eating."

Illyria considered this as if the question hadn't even occurred to her. "It was...fibrous."

"Think th' hot dog'll taste better," he told her. "Didn' know dog tasted tha' good."

"It was surprisingly flavorful for dog," Illyria agreed. "And less stringy."

"Mashed up." Hard to notice when you haven't been chewing them. Illyria reached for another and broke this one in half to stare at the insides. "I see." She poked a finger at it thoughtfully. "My 'roommate' says that dogs aren't for eating, here. I wonder if he's aware of this."
