So first he'd had one energy shot. But really, those things weren't that big, so what harm could another one do, right? And another. And another.

Which led to a very bouncy Bobby in the common room (with a case of energy shots accompanying him, natch), flicking through channels: "Seen it, seen it, seen it, boring, seen it- ooooh I wonder if there's any of those in the cupboards..." and then he was off rummaging through the cupboards looking for snack foods. For about two minutes, before he got distracted again by something on the TV.

This could go on for a while. And was precisely why he wasn't supposed to have this much caffeine in one go.

"The diner! Lacey gave them to us."

"Are they any good?" JEAN. NOT THE QUESTION TO ASK.

"Really really," Bobby nodded. "Do you want one?" he held the can in her direction. "Or just one of the little ones?" he fished one of the shots out of a pocket.

"Are the little ones fat-free?"

"Ummm," Bobby squinted at the bottle. "There's 40 calories?" like he paid attention to those things!

"Well... maybe." Jean reached for it in order to see if it was real sugar or fake.

Real sugar! Cane sugar, even. "I have lots," he said, handing it over.

That could only end in tears!

Reading it over, Jean frowned even more. "Bobby, this is like liquid sugar."

"Yes, annnnnd?" he did not see the problem with that.
