So first he'd had one energy shot. But really, those things weren't that big, so what harm could another one do, right? And another. And another.

Which led to a very bouncy Bobby in the common room (with a case of energy shots accompanying him, natch), flicking through channels: "Seen it, seen it, seen it, boring, seen it- ooooh I wonder if there's any of those in the cupboards..." and then he was off rummaging through the cupboards looking for snack foods. For about two minutes, before he got distracted again by something on the TV.

This could go on for a while. And was precisely why he wasn't supposed to have this much caffeine in one go.

"You don't need more than one," she said firmly. "They're tiny for a reason."

"I had four and I'm fine!" ...for dubious values of 'fine'. "I wouldn't have anymore tonight," he wheedled.

"Sweetie, do me a favor?" she requested. "Do this."

She held her hand out flat, and perfectly still.

"Sure," Bobby shrugged, doing the same.

Except for how his hand was twitching. Not spastically or anything, but noticeably.

"Okay?"
