After a couple of off weeks due to trips and dances, the frat was back and meeting in a rec room. Hannibal was looking like the cat that got the canary. He probably should have mentioned his pick of things to do beforehand but what would be the fun in that?

"Welcome back, guys," Hannibal said, still grinning. "Hope your fall break and your Homecoming was a good one. We gave you a few weeks off and now we're back. Don't worry, we're going to ease back into it."

And, with that, he reached behind him and came back with a box that he was holding face down. No giving it away yet.

"Hannibal claims he has a sport fit for all of us," Arthur said, casting him a slightly suspicious look. "He's been looking shifty about it all afternoon."

Slight exaggeration, since he hadn't seen Hannibal all afternoon and they were technically still in the afternoon, but the point held.

"I do have a sport first for all of us," he said, smirking in Arthur's direction. "And we're all going to participate. It combines flexibility, strength, strategy and cunning. I know it's not one of those brute force contests like hockey that you love, Arthur, but doesn't sound so bad, does it?"

Maybe he could have Arthur admitting he didn't mind Twister without KNOWING Twister was coming.

Arthur failed to oblige. He was stubborn like that, even when he didn't realise he was being stubborn about anything. "Are we getting to the exercise at any point, Hannibal?" he inquired. "Because as much as I'd like to stand here and listen to you justify your choices all day..."

"We're getting to it right now," Hannibal said and finally revealed the game. "We're playing Twister. Yes, that's right. Take off your shoes, grab one of the game boxes and pair up or trio up or however. Play as dirty as you want without touching each other. There are instructions in the box but I'm sure a few of you know how to play this without reading them. Help each other out. Whoever wins gets bragging rights. Loser...loses."

With that, Hannibal started opening his own box and laying out the mat.

"Sweet mercy," Arthur muttered, facepalming hard, and rubbing the bridge of his nose for good measure. "What is it with you people and children's games?" ... Not that he knew Twister, but it was starting to be a theme.

"Give it a chance, Arthur," Hannibal grinned, still looking smug. "I know it'll be difficult but I'm sure you can do it."

And if he couldn't, it'd be fun to hold Arthur's lack of Twister technique over his head for all of eternity.

Not that Mat had done that with women in the past.

Loath to admit weakness in any situation, Arthur said, "Well, she was technically not born a woman, so we figured she... qualified." That argument worked. Yes.

Chuck didn't hold out much hope that he'd be any better at this today than he had been playing it before, but it was fun even so. Knew enough to know that.

But maybe whoever he played with would be clumsier. It was possible.

Well, that was a fairly easy start, and Chuck stepped forward easily to put his foot down on the right spot.

"We're actually lucky there aren't more people," he commented, talking just because he couldn't help himself yeah. "Gets a bit tangly, and--" he made some vague hand gestures to indicate 'cramped'. Or tried, anyway.

I am freaking AWFUL at Twister but I do agree it's fun. I just lose or inevitably am the one that hurts themselves. Hey, someone's gotta be the designated spinner person, right?
