Watching TV might not be one of his favourite pasttimes, but Leto had sat down on the couch with a cup of tea and just flipped through the channels. Soon he had found a documentary on Darwin's discoveries on the Galapagos islands and the development of the concept of evolution. Although lacking in philosophical depth, the particulars of the historical events still caught his interest, and Leto followed the story with a thoughtful frown on his face.

"Making tea and using a knife. What more could you ask of a man?" He laughed, shaking his head, then sipped his own tea.

"I could think of a few things." Of course, because this was Triela, that list was mostly comprised of other ways to kill people.

"Oh? Like what?" Yes, Leto expected something like that.

"I wouldn't worry about it." Triela smirked just a it. "Most of them are beyond your ability to learn."

Oh, but I'm curious," Leto said. "After all, why shouldn't I be allowed to dream?"

"Well, I wouldn't want you setting unobtainable goals for yourself. It'd only result in disappointment for everyone around you."

"I'm sorry to hear that you have so little faith in my ability to deal with disappointment," Leto replied cheerfully.

Triela shrugged. "I know you too well."

No she didn't.

"Really?" Leto asked. "So how would you describe me?"

In a rare moment of honesty, Triela simply shrugged and answered: "Aggravating." Of course if she were being completely honest she would have added "confusing" too.

"I'll take that as a compliment," Leto replied. "Ghani would say I hadn't been making an effort."

"It doesn't seem like you really need to try very hard," Triela countered. "At least at this."

"At what?" Leto asked. He knew, of course.

"Of that," Triela answered, making an exasperated face.

Leto managed to look perfectly oblivious to what she was talking about, or so he thought.

Triela just shot him a Look. It wasn't nearly as good as Ghani's, but it was the same type of expression, at least.

He laughed, shaking his head. "So I do have more talents than previously mentioned?"

"I don't think that that qualifies as a talent," Triela countered.

"And why not?" he asked. "Besides, as you clearly have so little faith in my abilities I could decide you need demonstrating."

Triela quirked an eyebrow. "That won't be necessary," she insisted.

"How can you be so sure?" he asked.
