Roof; Friday Afternoon

Chuck was bored and tired of hanging around his room so when he finally got out of bed on Friday he decided to get out for a bit. Not to a common room since his post-Thanksgiving hangover wasn't allowing for him to be quite that social at the moment, but he knew he could handle being out on the roof for a bit. It was cold, but nothing Chuck couldn't handle. The scarf did more than make him look fantastic, you know.

"Yeah, that would have been a creative murder," Alex said, letting it go. "I think I would've almost preferred that over getting kneed in the balls and tossed around. By a girl."

Chuck winced. "That has got to hurt the ego a bit. I'm sorry."

"Well, she was a vampire so she had an advantage but yeah," Alex said and made a face. "Didn't do any permanent damage, though. Always thankful for that."

"That's definitely the bright side," Chuck agreed. "I'm so glad I've avoided most of that weird crap."

"Most?" Alex asked, curious now. "What haven't you avoided?"

"Well I didn't avoid this one weekend where everybody was acting like they were on Days of Our Lives. Got killed during that," Chuck said. "And then there was this one weekend where everybody but me was acting insane and I got stabbed in the shoulder with an axe."

"You have a knack for getting yourself killed, don't you?" Alex asked, snickering. "That a benefit of your charming personality?"

"It's gotta be jealousy, I'm telling you."

"Yeah, but it sounds like they almost always succeed," he pointed out. "Why be jealous when they know they can just take you out that easily?"

Chuck shrugged. "I think the fact that I always seem to come back has something to do with it. The one time I came back as a ghost and pushed some guy off a roof."

"...it had been a really weird weekend."

"I guess so," Alex said, raising an eyebrow. "So, you're not only a victim but also the culprit. Like a little variety, don't you?"

"I think it was more of a case of me being fair. Murder for murder," Chuck said with a shrug. "Besides, why should everybody else get to be part of all the killing fun? It's not like it stuck."

"And here all that's happened to me is a random day as a girl and some singing," Alex said. "What a letdown."

"Hey, the girl thing can be fun." The singing notsomuch. "Did you bother trying to get laid?"

"Bother nothing, I did," he said cockily.

"Oh, good," Chuck said approvingly. "The guys that were moping around were just pathetic."

"I won't deny that it took some getting used to but once I was, it was fine," Alex said, shrugging. "Girls have some interesting sensitives, I found."

"Sad that it didn't last longer," Alex sighed, shrugging. "I would have liked to have more of those. My roommate spent the day freaking out."

"Who, Griff?" Chuck asked. Hi, he did radio. "Yeah, he seems like the type who would spaz out about that."

"One of the many things he spazzes about," Alex said, shaking his head. "Kid's never gonna not be a virgin."

"Oh, he's one of those people," Chuck said, wrinkling up his nose. "You're right. He'll be a virgin forever."

"And, you know, he's got a girl but he freaks out when girls end up naked in front of him," Alex shared. "He walked in on me and a girl and I think he still blushes around her."
