Third Floor Common Room [Friday Evening]
The fact that Bobby was in the common room was not, generally speaking, cause for alarm. The fact that he was in the common room kitchen area with a box of brownie mix might be, though, depending on who you asked.
Kennedy didn't seem too concerned from her spot on the couch. She did, however, look pretty pleased with how the t-shirts that both she and Bobby were sporting had turned out. The t-shirts that read "I can't help it if the ladies know a good thing when they see it".
The gaggle of snow-angels that had been following Bobby around all day apparently agreed with the t-shirt's sentiment, at least from the way they sighed dreamily every time he glanced their way. Bobby was pretty sure he'd seen one of them swoon, even.

Karla didn't understand half of why the people of this world did the things they did.
As the FBI warning came on, Karla asked ever-so-casually, "Are you staying around here for break? Or heading home?"

"Stayin', I think," he replied, the so casual question totally saving him from asking. "Me mam hasn't writin' nothin'." And after she'd come out here for Parents' Weekend, he didn't expect there t'be Portalocity money available. "An' ye? D'ye have th'wintersol t'go back for?"

In his letter, Morton had mentioned Hobart asking a lot of leading questions about Dhemlan. Which meant they should both stay away for awhile.
