3rd Floor Common Room [Sunday Afternoon]

Bobby's ability to somehow procure massive amounts of food had not deserted him, as evidenced by the fact that currently in the common room there was one (1) Bobby Drake, a stack of the last three (3) issues of Rebel Justice Unleashed and one dozen (12) pizzas of various varieties.

The common room was open and Bobby was perfectly willing to share... the pizzas, that is. Persuading him to share comic books might be a more difficult task.

Oh, so he was going that route, huh? Well, two could play at that game. "But my big sis said they don't always get things right, anyway."

"...Okay, point, but do you really wanna question the journalistic integrity of something that'll just as soon bite you?" Not that he ever had actually been bitten by a squirrel. But it could happen.

"Mmmm, I thought the gremlins were the ones that bit." Claudia rather thought that the veteran students weren't keeping their facts straight. Wouldn't it be fun when she learned otherwise?

"Well, them too," Bobby admitted. "Though I don't think I've ever seen that happen." Not entirely true, but he had no idea that he'd borne witness to a gremlin-bite aftermath, so. "Anything with teeth, really."

Claudia tilted her head. "Okay, you've got a point on that one. Still, if there's an infestation of bitey squirrels, you'd think a fancy private school would take care of it."

"I think the squirrels are the pirate guy's jurisdiction, actually," Bobby informed her.

"I woulda thought parrots and monkeys are more of a pirate's style."

"See, that's the thing about Fandom," Bobby said solemnly. "It'll teach you to get rid of your preconceived notions about such things."

"Broaden my horizons, huh? Must be why they sent me here."

"To broaden your horizons about pirates?" Bobby joked.

"I dunno, man, that social worker was kinda freaky."

"Social worker?" Bobby echoed, nosiness getting the better of him for a second.

"Yep. I'm a freaky foster kid." She wiggled her fingers in a 'spooky' manner. "Never know when I might go off."

"I'm shaking in my boots," Bobby said solemnly.
