3rd Floor Common Room [Sunday Afternoon]

Bobby's ability to somehow procure massive amounts of food had not deserted him, as evidenced by the fact that currently in the common room there was one (1) Bobby Drake, a stack of the last three (3) issues of Rebel Justice Unleashed and one dozen (12) pizzas of various varieties.

The common room was open and Bobby was perfectly willing to share... the pizzas, that is. Persuading him to share comic books might be a more difficult task.

[ooc: bored. avoiding doing anything resembling something productive, at least until I have to go back to school tomorrow.]

Puck winced. "Canada. That's rough. I mean, I guess it's great that you guys can drink at nineteen. Good work there, Canada."

Tony shrugged. "I'd rather live in Canada than Ohio," he said.

"Yeah, but I'd rather live in a dumpster outside a Chuck E. Cheese in Maine than in Ohio most days," Puck replied. "Did not take much to get me to leave Lima, no."

Tony laughed. "You got weird stuff in your Ohio?" he asked.

"What kind of weird stuff? We have this cheerleading coach who I'm pretty sure used to be a man, if that's what you mean," Puck offered.

Tony laughed again. "Dude, in my life, that's so normal it's practically apple pie. I mean weird stuff - magic, demons, aliens, any of that stuff."

Puck stared good and hard, because this was like, the fourth person who'd said something like that. "Well. We have drugs back home, too, but it's clearly not as good as the shit everyone here is on."

Tony reached toward the kitchen and called a can of Coke to his hand. It flew from the counter and smacked neatly into his palm. He offered it to Puck.

Puck's entire response was a wide-eyed, "What the hell?"

He actually got up, tracing the path of the Coke and waving an arm a bit, clearly looking for a wire or something. He turned back to Tony, staring openly once again. "What the hell did I just see?"

"Magic," Tony said. "I'm a wizard."

"Uh, sure, and I'm a mystical fairy who prances through the woods at night," Puck snorted. No, he had no grasp of either irony or literary references. "No, seriously, dude. How'd you do that?"

"Magic. Seriously," Tony said. "You're not in Ohio anymore." He called another soda can to his hand to demonstrate.

"No, dude, I'm in Maryland. Not Oz," Puck said, flailing his hands emphatically.

"Yeah, I know. I went to Oz my first semester here. Not nearly as pretty as in the movie," Tony said. So maybe he was enjoying this a little.

Puck almost offered his opinion that he'd always thought Dorothy was a hot little piece, but had bigger things to worry about. "Okay, you mean Australia, right? 'Cause like, people say that. It's a thing, right?"

"Nope, someplace else," Tony said. "Look, man, here's the deal. Magic, monsters, aliens, spaceships - anything you ever thought was imaginary - it's all real. And a lot of it ends up here on this island. The sooner you accept that, the easier it's going to be." He used a bit of magic and drew in the air with glowing blue energy; two dots, a curved line and a circle. After a moment, the smiley face began to giggle.

Puck just sat for a moment, then offered, "Maybe I'm in a coma."

Tony sighed. He lifted up his left hand - the one with a rune scar burned on the palm - and pulled the energy from the smiley face back into himself. Wasn't really fair to leave it hanging around. He stifled the urge to giggle and said, "You'll adapt. Sooner or later."
