3rd Floor Common Room [Sunday Afternoon]

Bobby's ability to somehow procure massive amounts of food had not deserted him, as evidenced by the fact that currently in the common room there was one (1) Bobby Drake, a stack of the last three (3) issues of Rebel Justice Unleashed and one dozen (12) pizzas of various varieties.

The common room was open and Bobby was perfectly willing to share... the pizzas, that is. Persuading him to share comic books might be a more difficult task.

[ooc: bored. avoiding doing anything resembling something productive, at least until I have to go back to school tomorrow.]

Just a sliiiiiiiight difference. "Bobby," she said, with an exaggeratedly put-upon sigh, "I'm pretty sure whoever Santa Claus is, he isn't a large man with white hair who falls down chimneys in a red suit to give toys to children."

Oh, if they were going to play this game, Gabrielle could do it all night not dirty, so she affected a firm look and insisted, "Senticles, Bobby, Senticles. We're talking about two completely different people here!"

"That's true," Gabrielle agreed, then decided this conversation was going to get far too weird if she didn't change directions like that time she accidentally yanked on Argo's reins, found them suddenly going the way they'd come, and Xena had made her walk behind beside the horse for a month. "And it would make sense. How have you been, Bobby, other than confused by time passing in strange ways?"

[identity profile] ancientbschamp.livejournal.com 2010-01-04 04:43 am (UTC)(link)
That actually made sense to Gabrielle, even though she (sadly) couldn't say she could relate to that degree. ". . . would you like a hug?"

She wasn't fond of not having useful advice to offer, but like Hades she was going to avoid any opportunity to be comforting.

Oh, look at Gabrielle thinking he was doing just fine at that. Not that she should be feeling guilty about enjoying it or anything.

"I missed you, Bobby," she said, leaning over to hug him. Gabrielle liked to think she gave good hugs. Xena didn't seem to complain, but she was all stoic.

"We should. How do you feel about libraries?" Gabrielle asked, in an apparent (although it wasn't one) complete logical leap.

"Is that a bad thing? Think of it this way," Gabrielle told him. "You've surrounded yourself with informed people."

"But if you did, you wouldn't have the time to visit us," Gabrielle pointed out with what she thought was flawless logic. "Who else do you know who works there?"
