3rd Floor Common Room [Sunday Afternoon]

Bobby's ability to somehow procure massive amounts of food had not deserted him, as evidenced by the fact that currently in the common room there was one (1) Bobby Drake, a stack of the last three (3) issues of Rebel Justice Unleashed and one dozen (12) pizzas of various varieties.

The common room was open and Bobby was perfectly willing to share... the pizzas, that is. Persuading him to share comic books might be a more difficult task.

Mat grinned. "It's a date, then. How do your days look in the next week?"

"I'm busy tomorrow," Leia said, "and Tuesday I have three classes. But Wednesday and Thursday I'm absolutely free."

"I have class on Tuesday as well, but Wednesday is very free," Mat said.

"Wednesday it is then," Leia said. "It'll give me something to look forward to on Tuesday as I suffer through my classes."

"What are you taking?" Mat asked.

"I have Battles that Changed History on Fridays," Leia said. "And on Tuesdays, I have Ethics, Concepts of Justice & Law, and -- I don't understand why I've been assigned this one -- Living with Difficult Women. There has to be some mistake."

"We have two classes together," Mat said with a little smile. "I'm taking the one about battles as well."

And the one about difficult women.

"You like history?" Leia asked. "I wonder if the battles will be only from this world's history or not."

"I have a habit of being places just before things start getting bloody interesting," Mat said dryly, "so I'm hoping that maybe I will learn how to turn that to my advantage."

"Does that mean things are about to get interesting right here?" Leia teased.

Mat leaned in a little. "Are you saying they haven't been interesting until now? I'll have to try harder."

"They've definitely been interesting," Leia said. "But just how interesting do things get?"

"How interesting do you want?" Mat asked.

"As interesting as they can possibly get," Leia said.

"With or without people trying to kill you?" he replied.

"Preferably without," Leia said. "But I do know how to take care of myself."

"I appreciate that in a woman," Mat said, "as long as you don't trying to poke me with knives."

"Then don't give me a reason to," Leia grinned. "And I promise I won't."
