Yesterday a promise was made to bake cookies.

Which was why Claire had gone shopping and was currently in the common room, mixing up the dough to bake some double chocolate chip cookies. She left a voicemail for Jool and figured that other people would probably wander by when they smelled something baking.

"So am I. It still amazes me sometimes that everyone is so friendly," said Harper. "It makes me wonder if I could try stuff that I never would have done at my old school."

"Like what?" Claire asked.

Harper looked around to see who was around, then leaned closer and whispered, "I've always wanted to be a cheerleader, but at my old school, they probably would have laughed me out of the tryouts."

"You should definitely try out," Claire encouraged. "Most of our squad is seniors so we need more underclassmen."

"Really? I guess it couldn't hurt. Besides, my coordination has gotten a lot better since I started going to Fight Club," said Harper, smiling.

"Oh, that's where I've seen you!" Claire realized. "But seriously, I could totally help you."
