Fifth Floor Common Room, Saturday Morning

There were smells and sounds coming from the fifth floor common room that would probably tempt most passers-by.
The sizzle and crackle of bacon and eggs, the bready smell of toasted English muffins, and... okay, it'd be really hard to smell or hear the orange juice just passing by.

Jennifer Walters was feeling good that morning. And she just wanted to share that feeling with others. Making breakfast seemed like a good way to do that.

And if the sounds of breakfast didn't bring people in, the fact she was playing Lady Gaga over a radio might help, she thought.

"Oh, I'm not all study," Jennifer said. "Probably will hit the gym today, too."

"Cheating," she teased, getting up to rinse her plate off. "If you go like that, I mean, yeah?"

"Hardly," Jennifer said. "I mean, yeah I can lift more. But the cardio is still just as effective."

"Hai hai," Ino answered, stealing a slice of bacon. "Take a joke, geez."

Jennifer felt really dumb. She really shouldn't be so defensive around Ino, she realized. "Oh, sorry," she said. "Didn't realize it was a joke. My bad."

Ino waved that off.

"I'll deal," she answered, eyes amused. "I mean, I ain't goin' to break down and cry or nothing."

"That would really be awful," Jennifer said. She wasn't sure she'd ever seen Ino cry. "Plus I'm pretty sure you're not the type to cry over something that silly, anyway."

"I don't cry much," Ino admitted. "I don't like to."

"A good cry every so often isn't so bad," Jennifer said. "At least I think so. But I see where you're coming from."
