Third Floor Common Room: Wednesday Afternoon

Having nothing better to do today, Gunn had set himself up on the couch where a rerun of Wendy the Werewolf Stalker was playing on the TV. Between laughing at the show he was busy shoveling spoonfuls of Peanut Butter Crunch in his mouth.

In his opinion there were few better ways to waste an afternoon.

"Seems like a small task for you to accomplish. That and giving us free cable."

"Most people would call a scientist deciding to take total control of the weather 'mad' or 'evil'. There's been movies about it."

"Why? You going to start throwing meatballs at us from the sky? I thought you were a peaceful dictator."

"Yeah, but any scientist worth her lab equipment knows that nature's already got its shit worked out when it comes to weather patterns. You dick around with that and Al Gore ends up winning awards as a movie maker."

"Yeah, I'm not sure I follow the connection there but I'll roll with it," Gunn chuckled.

"So yeah, you don't want me guaranteeing sunshine. As for the cookies, well, that's just gonna skyrocket the obesity problem."

"Damn. You going to let us have anything good?"

"I didn't say you couldn't have cookies. Just that you shouldn't be expecting me to hand them out."

"See, you're denying me my God given right to be fat."

"You can be fat all you want. I just don't see why you think I should personally make you fat."

"You're holding back on the rain of cookies, that's why!"

"So, by not making it rain cookies, I'm somehow denying you your rights?"

"So, by that logic, your rights are being denied right now."

"You might just have to get it for yourself."
