Cheerleading Practice, Gym [Wednesday, After Classes]

Sam was in a much better mood this afternoon than he'd been early in the morning, partly because he'd gotten the fun task of calling all the girls who tried out to welcome them to the team and invite them to practice. He got the mats out and arranged in order, and found the mix of peppy music that he least minded being earwormed with for the rest of the day.

Have some literal warming up time if you've been out in the snow.

"So, tryouts were a big success. We have four new members now," Sam said, smiling at Chloe, Didi, Harper, and Jean ~~assuming they were there~~. "Make sure they get welcomed properly, and does anyone have anything else to bring up?"

I bet he just loves the snow.

Are we going to have a spring this year? Because I feel like there's going to be snow until June at this rate.

Hannibal King

Hannibal had sent some time throwing candy hearts at Bobby in study hall so he was in a decent mood when he showed. Not decent enough to get into anything too strenuous but he was there, stretching and warming up.

Claire Bennet

Claire flopped down on a mat near Hannibal and began her stretches. "Do you think we'll ever see the sun again?" she asked.

"What, not snowing the winter wonderland?" he wondered, smirking.

"We don't have weather like this in Texas," she explained. "I'm a little tired of it."

Didi

"The groundhog saw his shadow, we get six more weeks of winter," he shared. "Better get used to it."

Didi bent over and stretched, but mostly she was looking around. It was interesting to come back to practice from this side.

"Is the groundhog ever wrong?" she asked hopefully.

I cannot even imagine how long it's going to take for all of this snow to melt. And worse, the flooding it will cause.

Priestly

Priestly flashed Didi a grin. "Welcome to the team."

"The groundhog is never wrong," Hannibal said sagely. "Don't you have someone to cuddle with?"

Claire rolled her eyes. "Yes, but I can't spend 24/7 cuddling."

"Why not?" Hannibal so no problem with this. "I would if I could. It'd be a great way to pass the time."

"Thanks," Didi said, leaning back on her hands. "I kind of auditioned on a whim, but it feels like everyone is nice. Do you like it?"

Considering the lack of warm clothing Ronon generally wore (there was something to be said for a galaxy made of up planets that nearly always looked like Vancouver in the early summer) he much preferred being inside on these snowy days. He shook off his long leather coat and left it on a bleacher to dry before it was time to head back into the blizzard.

"Because we have classes and other things to do," Claire said. Plus she was pretty sure Dinah and Edmund would get tired of it.

"That's why I said if I could," he pointed out. "If I didn't have classes or things to do, that's what I'd be doing."
