kappa kappa gremlin meeting | 1st floor rec room | after classes | friday | february 12

It was the first meeting of the frat for the new semester! Hannibal, as you might have expected, was pretty excited about this. Arthur, less so, but that was Arthur for you. Hannibal would pay cash money to anyone who got pictorial evidence of Arthur in glee mode. CASH MONEY.

Naturally, there was food. Burgers, to be precise. And a TV (although Arthur didn't find that particularly natural). And other... things that you found in a rec room.

"Good afternoon," Arthur started, a little looser than his reserve introductions (but only a little). "I'd like to welcome you all back to the Fandom fraternity, Kappa Kappa Gremlin. Today is a day for introductions, of course. Next week we'll resume our work in the vein of last semester. Let us know if you've got any ideas. We're looking at a schedule full of sports..."

"Seriously, don't be shy about suggesting something," Hannibal echoed his co-leader. CO-LEADER. "We're looking at mixing things up, even if we can't do Twister again." That was sad. Sad sad sad. Though, Hannibal figured he could find something just as inane and embarrassing to do on his week to lead the frat.

"So, yeah, let's get with the introductions," Hannibal continued, clasping his hands together. "Name, age, year and let's go with the most macho thing you've ever done. Come on, cough it up. We wanna hear it. And feel free to eat the snacks and bum around the rec room. It's what we're here for."

"Uh..." Warren looked up toward the ceiling, trying to remember for the life of him which floor it had been on. And then he shrugged his shoulders, smiling a bit, like maybe he suddenly did feel pretty badass for doing it. "At least twenty floors up, I think. I stayed in free-fall for at least a good fifteen of those before catching myself."

And it had been exhilarating and awesome, and if he was fidgeting now, it was because he was realizing how badly he wanted to get outside and do it again.

"I'll try not to fly too many circles around the rest of you guys," Warren replied, and now he was grinning. "If you need any help organizing something like that, let me know. On my list of less-macho talents is a half-decent ability to balance books and keep business matters more or less in order."

He was being modest, now. Daddy was a millionaire, and Warren had learned all he needed to know about building and owning a Fortune 500 company from him. Organizing a hang gliding expedition would be a five-minute ordeal, the expenses of which could possibly even come out of his daily lunch money.

"I'll even bring my own ledger," Warren laughed. "You pick a date for an outing like that, and I'll even arrange for fundraising, transportation, glider rental, and lessons."

Which was totally not Warren going overboard and showing off in the least, honest.

"For ten dollars a jump, I'll even carry people out the windows with me," Warren grinned.

Now there would be one hell of a fundraiser, right there.

"There's less of a chance I'll drop them, that way," Warren laughed.

He was joking. He was so joking.

"Falling is the easy part," Warren replied, crossing his arms over his chest and grinning. "It's landing you have to worry about. Maybe that's how I'll boost profits. Another ten dollars to catch you again, to be negotiated during the plummet."

Still joking.

... But it would probably be ridiculously effective.
