2nd Floor Common Room, Friday Evening
There was the whole Valentine's dance thing that Ino hadn't decided on yet (also, she didn't have a date, but whatever—you didn't need a date for socializing and dance, pffft) and the whole Spring Break vacation thing that she hadn't yet decided if she was going to go on that either.
(Part of her wanted to. Another part of her was hoping that, if she stuck around and made enough phone calls home along the lines of 'I have a week off! Please give me work!' that she'd eventually get a mission of her very own rather than having to mooch off other people.)
All of that, and the fact that she'd had two days of doing nothing but studying and the like, was the reason Ino was sprawled out on a couch now, with a bag of M&Ms that she could totally be persuaded to share, and flicking through a gardening catalogue. It was cold outside now, sure, but spring had to come eventually, right? And that meant flowers. All different kinds of flowers!
The tiny little fact that the couch she was making herself comfy on wasn't anywhere near her floor's common room really didn't bother her much. Why on earth would she limit herself to one floor?
[Ooopen as a common room is!]

"Hullo," he said, veering towards the kitchen area to get something to drink. "Having a quiet night?"

In one hand, he had a cupcake. In the other hand, he had a list, of the members of the Magic and Military Reserves. And he was a man on a mission. A mission to give someone a cupcake that he'd been carrying around for the past several hours. It would have helped, really, if he'd known who the people on the list were.
The common room seemed promising, right?
Flying might have made this easier, Warren.
no subject
"Hi Warren," she said cheerfully. "Where'd you get the cupcake from?"
Because if someone else had them in another common room then she was totally going to go get her own.
Wings? Well, wings got a look, but Ino wasn't going to comment on them when last time she'd talked to him he'd gone all tense when she'd just brought them up.

See, he was totally breathing?
"I'm supposed to give it away," he replied, offering Ino a small smile. "You know, I think you're the only person on the list of people that I'm supposed to give it to that I actually know?"
He didn't get out much. Did it show?

Either that, or else there was some huge trip off island that Warren had managed to miss, too.

No comment on the wings.
no subject
If there was no comment on the wings, then he wasn't going to wave his arms around and flare them for the whole room to see and then freak out about them. So it worked out nicely, and they could talk about... cupcakes.
"The problem is, I really don't know many of the people on the list they handed out. I guess that's a sign that I need to get out more."

Thus making him a bit of an oddball tonight, even before the wings folded at his back were taken into consideration.
"Good evening, Bruce." See, he was going to be friendly between fidgets. "What brings you so far down from the roof tonight?"
no subject
He let that go for a beat. "I figured a little bit of socialization wouldn't hurt me, and there wasn't anyone up there. What about you? I haven't seen you down here very often."
