Second Floor Common Room - Saturday evening - 02/13
Fiona had made sure to have everything set up, just in case.
There was popcorn, loads of popcorn, so much popcorn... not to mention a few different seasoning salts and a bottle or two of cheese powder. There was a big blanket, a stack of the most terribly rated and ridiculous action/comedy DVDs, and a bunch of soda. And, of course, there was herself and her kitten (the first cradling the second in her lap). Everything was set for the evening...
Now all she needed was her... friend. Yes.
[intended for one specifically, but Fiona seriously overprepared so feel free to come!]

"I thought the title was kind of funny. All it makes me think about is if I've remembered all of my declensions."

"There's no way in the world I'm ever going to get my family to tell me anything they don't want me to know, right? And going to my dad is just about guaranteed to get me killed if they find out.
"So it's a little more than just a book."

Framed in red-and-gilt filigree a nude woman stood surrounded by creatures of the forest: bears and wolves, foxes and squirrels and rabbits, finches and hawks. The woman held out her hands to the animals, letting them smell her—or it almost looked as if she was blessing them. She pointed to the Latin written out in her hand below.
"'Lady Nature anoints the animals of the woods, gifts them with claws sharpened, noses and ears and eyes keen, and the kiss of Winter Sleep.'"
Lady Nature’s face was lifelike, perfect. It was, in fact, Fiona's Aunt Dallas.
Fiona's cheeks burned as they had the first time they'd come upon this picture. Her Aunt was beautiful and Fiona felt terribly lacking whenever she looked upon the tasteful, but still embarrassing, picture. No one wants to see their aunt naked.
Her camera came out next, finger flipping through the taken pictures until they stopped on one of Dallas with her trademark smirk twisting her perfect lips.
It was very clearly one and the same woman, even if the settings were completely different.
"This is from the book."
