One of the easiest ways, Bod discovered, of dealing with leftover restless energy was to get himself out of his room. Finding it was warmer than it had been was even better. It meant he could go outside without feeling like he was going to turn into the human equivalent of an icicle.

With a walk into town on his mind, Bod decided he could wait awhile when he discovered the deck. It look little used (which made sense during the winter months) but it was warm enough today to get some use.

So, he clambered onto the deck and took a seat, making himself comfortable by stretching his leg out and tucking his arms behind his head. Of course, now that he was there, he didn't really have much to do. Staring at the sky worked for a few moments before he let his eyes slip closed.

It wasn't sleep so much as an easy way to take himself back to a different time in a different place with different people. He didn't do this often since it tended to make him maudlin but on a brisk Monday, he allowed himself the luxury.

"Love and affection and chocolate, huh?" Bobby mused. "That... actually doesn't seem like a bad deal, I guess. You'll be taking pictures, I presume?" He'd gotten himself into enough scrapes by now that having it recorded for posterity was... well, still embarrassing, but routine.

[intraspective]

"Absolutely," she answered unrepentantly. "Can't have something like that happen without proof that it did, you know? Maybe a video camera but I'm not that great with one of those."

She got distracted! And then the picture wasn't what she'd been trying to film and then she couldn't figure out how to stop it from filming!

"I'm never letting you meet Warren," Bobby decided. The Warren he'd grown up with had amassed way too much potential blackmail material.

[intraspective]

Her eyes lit up with unholy glee.

"Warren? The one here?"

[longislandiceme]

...Oh, nuts. "Not exactly?" he replied. "I mean, he's the same but- not the same. I know another version of him back home."

[intraspective]

"Ooooh, alternate timelines and stuff," Ino nodded, making a mental note to see if she could ever track down other-Warren if he showed up on some weekend.

Because, really, blackmail material of awesome.

"And why don't you want me to meet him? I'm perfectly nice." And innocent! So far!

"Yeah, but he's trouble," Bobby insisted. "Really."

[intraspective]

"Is he cute trouble?" she asked shamelessly.

Bobby sighed and rolled his eyes. "Most girls seem to think so," he admitted.

[intraspective]

"He sounds awesome to me," she decided. "I'd love to meet him. Even if you don't want me to. Ha!"

Oh, good move, Drake. "Yeah, well," he stuck his tongue out at her. Sooo mature. "He's a busy guy. Maybe he won't be able to make it next family-weekend-thing. Or I'll warn him about the blonde girl who's nothing but trouble."

[intraspective]

"There's lots of cute blonde girls around here," she said, even though he hadn't said the word cute. "Are you going to tell him to avoid all of them if he makes it?"
