Alex felt like he hadn't been up to the roof in a fucking long while. In actuality, it probably hadn't been that long but it was nice that the weather was warming enough that a light jacket could do him just fine for the day.
The hangover he'd expected was still hanging around, making him a little more bleary and tired but it'd been worth it. At the very least, getting Rose drunk had been fun and if he'd needed it, she'd needed it even more.
The fresh air would do him good, he suspected. Of course, once he'd lit a cigarette and started making that air less than fresh, good intentions kinda went out the window. Oh well.
