"Good afternoon, frat brothers," Arthur started, grinning lightly at the assembled men. "Sports are an important part of our curriculum here. Which is why today, we will be focusing on that most majestic of sports festivals, the Olympics. If you haven't been watching yet? This is a good time to start. If you have? Please grab a burger and join us."

Hockey, people. Hockey.

"And if you don't like one thing, don't worry, the Olympics encompasses several different varieties of sports. This is the winter Olympics so it's sports geared to that season. In two years, we'll get back to the summer Olympics. And, of course, the Olympics is the one time any masculine dude can wear tights and be thought as freaking awesome."

Hannibal watched figure skating, shut up. He'd been up late last night watching the men's free skate finals. They were kind of addicting, okay! And fun.

"So yeah, like Arthur said, grab a burger, grab a drink and have a nice, easy day before Spring Break. Seems like the thing to do, right?"

"Right. Please don't mind Hannibal," Arthur continued, to the ~~class~~ men, "He enjoys figure skating from time to time."

Arthur was going to hold that tights comment over his head for the rest of his stay in Fandom.

"They could kick your ass," Hannibal retorted, rolling his eyes. It wasn't like Hannibal didn't have to still find a time to wear some damn tights of his own. Damn Kate and her bets. "Maybe you should hire them to teach you to skate, hockey boy."

So much love.

"I'll leave the figure skating to the women," Arthur shot back, smirking at him. "My skating is coming along fine. And I believe that's all, unless anyone has any questions about Hannibal's desire to wear tights...?"

"I could pull 'em off," he said cockily, crossing his arms. He didn't say anything else because they'd be here all day and there was food to eat.

Mat Cauthon, women's figure skating (oh, like you're surprised)

Warren Worthington III, ski jumping.

Chuck Bartowski, ~~ping pong~~ Table Tennis.

There's plenty of moddable food and drinks and there's a television broadcasting all the latest Olympics coverages!

Mat was not staring at his breeches and wondering where they fell on the tights-to-pants line.

Really.

He was far too busy grabbing a burger and trying to figure out the sports he was watching.

"What're you looking at?" Hannibal asked, noticing Mat's attention.

"I have no bloody idea," Mat admitted with a laugh. "We don't play this at home."

"The Olympics?" Hannibal asked. "So, you get a crash course! Probably got some events up your alley. There's a little something for everyone."

"Is there archery?" Mat asked.

"Not during the Winter Olympics," Hannibal said. "During the Summer Olympics, there is. There's biathlon, though. They shoot rifles."

"Oooh," Mat said, eyes lighting up. "Is it on now?"

"Probably on one of these channels," Hannibal said, flipping a few times to find some coverage. "They spread these events out over like three channels. A lot of these events are like skiing, snowboarding, speedskating, figure skating, stuff like that."

"We have winters at home, of course," Mat said, looking a little abashed, "but we don't really have sporting events based on them."

"Well, here, we can narrow down what you might like," he said. "Fast or slow paced?"

"Fast," Mat replied promptly. "Are there ones you can wager on?"

"I'm sure there's places you can place bets," Hannibal said. "It's not actually attached to the actual games but people can bet on anything, right? Sure we find you something."

Hannibal flipped a few more channels and landed on speedskating. "This is pretty fast. Might see some girls in tight jumpsuits."

The suits were definitely a bit distracting. "This is a sport that's encouraged here?" Mat said. "If I suggested it at home, I'd never stop getting kicked."

"Oh yeah, totally encouraged," Hannibal said. "You might even like women's figure skating. It's a little slower but the girls wear skirts that barely hit their thighs."

"More so than the ones at school dances?" Mat asked.

"I think that depends on the girl." Because there were some very short dresses on this island. "It's pretty universal on figure skating that the dress is short."

"Is that on now?" he asked eagerly.

"I think that might one next week but we can look," he decided. "Might at least find some footage of them warming up or something. If not, we've still got the speedskaters and their tight uniforms."

And now Mat had a reason to figure out how to make the television work! "Let's look," he said.

"Man after my own heart," Hannibal said and set to work on finding something pretty to watch.

Burger. Coke. And Warren, standing up and leaning against the side of the couch while he worked on enjoying both.

Huh. Those tights really did seem to be pretty aerodynamic.

Stop looking so thoughtful, Warren.

Once they get all pinged in!

Hannibal was there, pleased that it was both Friday and that there was a vacation planned for next week. Couldn't really get better than that.

Arthur was there ~~finally rassum frassum KPN internet~~ and... really more focused on his trip to the UK next week.

Albeit watching the TV closely. He was hoping for more hockey.

Once he pings in!

I stayed up WAY late to see the end of the men's figure skating event. TOTALLY WORTH IT. GO LYSACEK!

I read that first sentence as "good afternoon, FAT brothers" and went o.0 for a sec.

NEED MOAR COFFEE.
