1st Floor Rec Room, Late Monday Morning

This morning, Kate had found out that repression only works well when you're not faced with having to go to a class taught by someone you're trying to repress about.

Which might explain why after breakfast, she'd grabbed some candy from her stash and made her way down to the rec room on the first floor, where she'd parked her ass on a couch and started playing a snowboarding game.

Yeah, she'd be right here until she had to go to Algren's class in 5th period.

[ooc: Open! I love that I have an icon for gaming and candy.]

"I read and play chess and spend a lot of time walking through the Preserve." He hesitated. "That does sound terribly dull, doesn't it?"

"I'm under instructions to get out more," he explained. "Somewhere with people, I assume. So perhaps come summer my answer to that question might be different." He sounded completely uncertain of that.

"I'm admittedly not a people person on most occasions. How am I doing with my first step in the right direction?"

"I'll be sure not to tell you in the future then," Edmund decided with a brief grin. "I'll let you get back to your game. I'd best drop off my bag and make sure my roommate is still in one piece."

"And you," he replied sincerely. He picked up his bag and slung it over his shoulder. "If he's a chair, I hope he's a comfortable one. I'll be sure to let you know if that's the case. Best of luck with the snowboarding." And with that, he was off out the door.
