2nd Floor Common Room, Saturday Morning

It hadn't taken too long for Warren to figure out how to navigate the second floor common room, and he'd managed to scrounge up some crayons and blank paper to set onto a table for his unexpected roommate.

That accomplished, he was going to leave her to her own devices now, with Saturday morning cartoons on the TV in the background. They were, he figured, excellent diversions to spare him from having to babysit, and with her out here, there was no chance of that kitten eating her while he fled for his sanity's sake.

"Bye!" she called cheerfully and then, well, Kururu had crayons. And paper! And she was doing her Very Best to draw rainbows. ... This was harder than it sounded when you were barely taller than the crayon, okay?

It absolutely wasn't going to stop her from trying! Let's go!

[Hinata is Kururu from Bottle Fairy, la! Warren has fled the room (and mucho thanks to [livejournal.com profile] not_a_parakeet for writing half this post!), Kururu is still there, and the common room is open as such things are!]

"But you're so small! Someone must have stepped on you and crushed you to bits!" All evidence (such as standing there on the table with a crayon) to the contrary.

It was all such a horrifying thought.

"Are you suuuure?" Miria asked, her voice sounding hopeful.

"So maybe no one's stepped on him yet!" Yay!

"But what if they don't see him?" Miria gasped, working herself back towards a flailing panic.

"Oh! A sign!" What a great idea! Miria grabbed the crayon and grinned.

Then she bit her lip and frowned.

"But... what should it say?"

"Oh! What about 'Get Well Soon'?" That was something you put on signs, right?

"Oh, balloons! They're pretty!"

"A get well soon party!" Miria agreed.

"But we'll need cake!"

[identity profile] sorella-vecchia.livejournal.com 2010-03-06 09:52 pm (UTC)(link)
"Chocolate cake, yeah!" But... where did you get chocolate cake?

"You can't eat a drawing, silly!" Somehow, though, Miria didn't sound entirely sure about that. Because maybe it would be a really tasty drawing!

"It comes from... um... ISAAC! WHERE DOES CAKE COME FROM?"

Isaac, of course, wasn't around to answer.

She'd forgotten.

"Oh! Right!"

She'd forgotten that too.

"Yes, please!" Miria took the crayon with a huge, child-like grin.

Yay crayons!
